"Neotlozhka" stops its activities after pressure from law enforcers
Today, volunteers of the "Neotlozhka" (Emergency Care) group will submit the last transfer to the arrested Ingush activists, and after that the project will be stopped, reports group leader Boris Kodzoev. The news aroused regret among relatives of the imprisoned activists.
The "Caucasian Knot" has reported that on January 25, advocate Magomed Bekov reported about pressure on participants of the "Neotlozhka" public project. According to him, the law enforcement bodies summoned volunteer Aza Khalukhaeva to give "explanations about the activities of the project."
In July 2019, the "Neotlozhka" group was created by activists from Ingushetia to help the arrested participants of a March rally in Magas. The "Neotlozhka" handed over food, medicine, clothes, and money to prisoners.
Boris Kodzoev, the leader of the "Neotlozhka" group, wrote on Facebook that after the termination of the project, the imprisoned Ingush activists will not be left without attention.
Advocate Magomed Bekov called the pressure of the law enforcers on the volunteers of the "Neotlozhka" group a "gang raid."
Acts of intimidation will not stop the project, since many residents of Ingushetia support it, states Ruslan Mutsolgov, the head of the regional branch of the "Yabloko" Party.
Relatives of the accused Ingush activists expressed their gratitude to volunteers of the "Neotlozhka" group for the help needed in conditions of unemployment and distress.
