On June 1-7, there were no victims of armed conflict in Northern Caucasus

During the week of June 1-7, 2020, no events related to the armed conflict in Northern Caucasus were recorded.

No casualties or victims were reported during the week. These are the results of the calculations run by the "Caucasian Knot" based on its own materials and information from other open sources.

Let us note here that in the last two weeks, at least nine people suffered from the armed conflict in Northern Caucasus.

On May 30, the regime of counterterrorist operation (CTO) was introduced in the Ingush city of Sunzha. In the course of the CTO, in the industrial zone of the city, a group of armed people was blocked; a shootout broke out resulting in a fire. Two alleged members of the armed underground were killed.

Another CTO was conducted at night on May 22, in the Khasavyurt District of Dagestan, near the village of Goksuv, in which six alleged militants were killed and a serviceman of the "Rosgvardia" (Russian National Guard) was wounded.
