Law enforcers hit trail of killers of "Rosgvardia" fighter in Ingushetia
After examining the alleged militants killed near Galashki, law enforcers found a service pistol that could have belonged to Uvais Aliev, a Rosgvardia" (Russian National Guard) serviceman shot dead three weeks ago, sources have informed.
The "Caucasian Knot" has reported that in the evening on August 17, in the forest near the village of Galashki, Sunzha District of Ingushetia, law enforcers found a hideout with ammunition, after which they were shelled. On August 18, while searching for militants in the area, law enforcers killed two men who rendered armed resistance, sources report.
A service pistol was found on those killed near Galashki. According to law enforcers, it belonged to the "Rosgvardia" fighter, who had earlier fell victim to an attack, namely, Uvais Aliev, said the source.
Another source has reported that one of those killed during the special operation was identified. There were five attackers in total; the search for three others continues.
The policeman Uvais Aliev was killed in the evening on July 28 in the outskirt of the village of Yandare. In the opinion of law enforcers, members of the militant grouping of Aslan Byutukaev could be involved in the murder of Aliev.
