Stavropol activists support Alexei Navalny

Policemen did not interfere with the "Love is stronger than fear" action in the Stavropol Territory, the activists interviewed by the "Caucasian Knot" have informed.

The "Caucasian Knot" has reported that on February 14, in the cities of Russia the "Love is stronger than fear" campaign, which was announced by the associates of Alexei Navalny, was held. Its participants went out into the yards of their houses and turned on flashlights in their mobile phones.

On January 23 and 31, 2021, all over Russia, including in Volgograd, mass rallies were held in support of Alexei Navalny. The detained Volgograd residents explained that they had taken part in protests because of absence of social care amid poverty and lawlessness.

In Stavropol, the main action was held in the Perspectivny District. About 20 people took part therein, Maria, a housewife, said. "We went out into the yard of our district – it's a large dormitory area. We didn't chant or shout. Many car drivers were beeping to us expressing their support," she told the "Caucasian Knot" correspondent.

The police did not interfere with the action, Evgeny, a student, has added; he also took part in the action. "Everything went calmly; it's even strange – we had expected that they would walk around yards and track down people with mobile phones. But no, there was nothing of the case. We want to believe that policemen support us," he said.
