Georgian special troops have seized hostages in South Ossetia
The situation in the Tskhinval District of South Ossetia has aggravated after the Georgian power agencies deployed in the conflict zone took hostages from among peaceful population of South Ossetia of Ossetian nationality and militia, the correspondent of the "Caucasian Knot" reports.
In this connection, today, the South Ossetian part of the Mixed Control Commission (MCC) has distributed a message for the press. In particular, it runs: "The Georgian party has made an attempt of illegal transportation of the so-called humanitarian freights across the territory of the Republic of South Ossetia without coordination with the South Ossetian party."
"The freights were stopped till the agreement of the issue between the Georgian and South Ossetian parts of the MCC; moreover, the South Ossetian party has ever addressed the issue with understanding. Nevertheless, the Georgian party has made an attempt to force the disputable issue through. Three "KamAZ" trucks full of "commandos" trained by American military instructors were moved to the place of the incident, who took several peaceful Ossetian citizens as hostages, including one employee of the law enforcement bodies."
