Daily Mirror: Scotland Yard has found Litvinenko's killers

British detectives are sure that they now know who killed ex-FSB colonel Alexander Litvinenko. At the same time, they state that Russian authorities will hardly ever give out "his two killers" to the British justice. It is reported that both main suspects were interrogated in Moscow by Scotland Yard inspectors. They admit that met him, but deny their involvement in the poisoning, the Daily Mirror informs.

A source at the Scotland Yard has asserted: "We are sure by 100 percent of who gave the poison, where and how." He explained that polonium traces had helped to search the killers. It is obvious that the Daily Mirror's news means Andrei Lugovoj and Dmitry Kovtun, businessmen and former special agents who were interrogated in December by Scotland Yard inspectors in Moscow, the "Gazeta.Ru" writes.

However, lawyer Andrei Romashov who represents Mr. Lugovoj's interests, has declared that the suspects in Litvinenko's are not Russian citizens. At the same time, Mr. Romashov has noted that he "knows nothing" about possible involvement of Leonid Nevzlin, former YUKOS shareholder, in poisoning Litvinenko, the RIA "Novosti" reports.
