In North Ossetia they intend to peacefully resolve the problem of refugees near the Maiskiy settlement
The federal embassy to the South Federal District (SFD) and the government of North Ossetia are going to complete, in the peaceful and lawful way, the disbandment process of the spontaneous settlement of forced migrants near the Maiskiy settlement of the Prigorodny District of the Republic, where the victims of the 1992 Ossetian-Ingush conflict have lived for 13 years.
To settle the situation with the forced migrants who refuse to leave their spontaneous settlement, Victor Anpilogov, deputy plenipotentiary for the SFD, arrived to North Ossetia. He has declared that the authorities are not going to force out the 20 remaining families of resettlers, despite the fact that the court decision on their illegal stay in the territory of the Maiskiy settlement has come into legal force. A temporary interdepartmental commission under the government of North Ossetia has been created for resolving the problems of this category of citizens and final disbandment of the spontaneous settlement.
