Dagestan: District head has beaten the chair of electoral commission
Another accident happened in Dagestan in connection with the forthcoming on March 11 elections to local bodies of power. In the Dokuzparinskiy District, the head of the municipal formation has beaten the chair of the local territorial electoral commission.
The "Gazeta.ru" has reported that the fact was made public by the president of the Republic Mukhu Aliev on air of the state broadcasting company "Dagestan." In his words, militia and the Office of Public Prosecutor are engaged in investigating the corresponding application lodged by citizens.
The "Caucasian Knot" has informed earlier that on March 2, an armed conflict burst out during discussion of the forthcoming elections in Dagestan on March 11 between the members of the "Yedinaya Rossiya" (United Russia) and "SPS" (Union of Right-Wing Forces) - residents of the village of Urkarakh of the Dakhadaevskiy District of Dagestan. A skirmish, during which two persons were killed, burst out between Magomed Aliev, head of the administration of the Dakhadaevskiy District, and Nukh Nukhov, head of the District's department of education.
