Azerbaijan hands over remains of a soldier deceased in Nagorno-Karabakh

Azerbaijan has handed over the remains of a soldier to Karabakh rescuers. The number of bodies and remains found has reached 1530, including 27 civilians, the Ministry for Emergencies (MfE) for Nagorno-Karabakh reports on Facebook.

The "Caucasian Knot" has reported that on April 4, Karabakh rescuers found the remains of two soldiers in the Fizuli District.

According to the preliminary information, the deceased man took part in the combat actions.

Let us remind you that on March 20, Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan announced that 3250 people from the Armenian side were killed as a result of the hostilities in Karabakh. Other 189 families are awaiting the results of the DNA examination. According to the calculations run in December 2020 by a blogger of the “Caucasian Knot”, the losses of both sides during the escalation of the conflict in Karabakh are approximately equal, and the total death toll amounts to approximately 10,300 people.
