Georgian authorities promise houses to 130 refugee families

Within the coming three months, refugees and forced migrants can choose a house with a land plot bought in rural areas at the expense of the state, the head of the Georgian Agency for Refugees announced on June 6.

The Agency has decided to purchase houses in rural areas for 130 families of refugees and forced migrants, said Besarion Simonishvili, the Agency Director.

According to his story, most of these houses have land plots, which may become an additional income of source for refugees, the "Georgia Online" writes.

Mr Simonishvili has added that families will be able to choose a suitable house by themselves in any region of Georgia within three months, the Georgian TV Channel One has reported on its website today, however, not specifying the categories of citizens that can apply for the above houses.
