Abkhazia refutes information on burning houses by "Group of Georgian Patriots"

Ruslan Kishmaria, plenipotentiary representative of the president of Abkhazia in the Galskiy District, refutes the information, disseminated by a number of Georgian TV companies that the members of the "Group of Georgian Patriots" have burnt down twelve houses in the District.

In fact, the house of Fridon Lagvilava, a resident of the village of Nabakevi, has burned down because of electric wiring malfunctions.

At the same time, Mr. Kishmaria was indignant with presentations on air of a number of Georgian TV companies made by the "Group of Georgian Patriots." Representatives of this Group are openly declaring that by burning down houses of Georgians in the Galskiy District of Abkhazia they take vengeance for their support of local authorities and participation in elections to parliament.
