Ulman's case: advocates ask for a new psychological examination of defendants
Ulman's advocate Roman Krzhechkovskiy insists on an additional psychological examination of the defendants. He has lodged a respective petition today to the North-Caucasian Regional Military Court in Rostov-on-Don. "We think that the defendants need additional examinations. It's not the issue of a repeated examination, since there's not a single doubt of their mental capacity. The point is to appoint a psychological examination to obtain a conclusion about individual psychological peculiarities of each of the defendants at the moment of conducting the Dai operation," Mr. Krzhechkovskiy has noted.
In their turn, both the victims and state prosecution have stated that the petition of the defence is nothing more than "an attempt by all means to protract the trial," the RIA "Novosti" reports.
The "Caucasian Knot" has informed earlier that captain Eduard Ulman, ensign Vladimir Voevodin, lieutenant Alexander Kalaganskiy and major Alexei Perelevskiy are accused of murdering peaceful residents of Chechnya.
