Kadyrov's presidency taken ambiguously in Chechnya
Today, Ramzan Kadyrov has officially entered the post of the president of the Chechen Republic. Many people in Chechnya are positively assessing Kadyrov's activities in his position, however, there are many of those who stick to a different point of view.
"It's only due to Ramzan Kadyrov that the city of Grozny is recovered at a quickened pace," "Ramzan Kadyrov helps needy citizens," "Under Kadyrov's order mountain regions are gasified," "Ramzan (Kadyrov) has managed to put bureaucrats to their place" - this is the usual scope of actions of the new Checnya's head that is welcomed by the majority of Republic's citizens.
The other part of the population perceives Ramzan Kadyrov as an absolute Kremlin's placeman and explains his relative popularity among his fellow citizens by a precisely devised and skilfully implemented PR campaign.
