An operation is underway in the Vedenskiy District of the Chechen Republic aimed to search militants from the squad of Suleiman Imurzaev (Hirullah), killed in the morning on April 4 in the vicinity of the settlement of Egishbatoj.

"In the vicinity of the village of Egishbatoj of the Vedenskiy District, members of power agencies are carrying out a broad-scale operation to search and neutralize a bandit group supposedly ten person strong. They are the militants from the group of field commander Suleiman Imurzaev, also known as Hirullah, who was liquidated yesterday morning," a source in the law enforcement bodies of Chechnya has reported.

The source asserts that the power officials have sufficient grounds to suppose that after the yesterday's armed collision there are wounded people among Imurzaev's subordinates.
