Militiamen shoot down a road accident participant in Chechnya
The Office of Public Prosecutor of one of the Districts of Grozny, the capital of Chechnya, has excited a criminal case on the fact of assassination by a militiaman of a minivan driver.
An employee of the Republic's law enforcement bodies told the "Caucasian Knot" correspondent that the incident took place on April 14 in the centre of Grozny.
"An employee of the Republic's MIA (Ministry of Internal Affairs) has shot dead Adam Makhmudov, a resident of Petropavlovskaya village of the Grozny District, from his service pistol. The witnesses of the incident assert that a Model 10 "Zhiguli" car with several employees of law enforcement bodies tried to make overtake in a prohibited place and rushed into a "Gazel" mini-van. A quarrel burst out between the two drivers that ended with a militiaman snatching out his pistol and making two shots at Makhmudov," a MIA source reports.
