Azerbaijan suspends searches for remains of those killed in Karabakh
The search for the bodies of those killed in the territories that came under the control of Azerbaijan after the war has not been carried out since October 18, the State Emergency Service of Nagorno-Karabakh reports.
The “Caucasian Knot” has reported that on November 2, the remains of eleven people were handed over to Karabakh rescuers through the mediation of Russian peacekeepers. The total number of bodies and remains of Armenian militaries has reached 1697, the State Emergency Service of Nagorno-Karabakh reports.
Karabakh is negotiating with all interested parties to resume the searches. However, the attempts of the Armenian side are being rejected by Azerbaijan, the State Emergency Service of the Ministry of Internal Affairs (MIA) of Nagorno-Karabakh reports on Facebook.
