Dagestan: militia tries to constrain mass disorders
Additional militia forced are deployed in the district centre of Sergokala of the Sergokalinskiy District with the aim to prevent possible mass disorders that may be organized by supporters of Ali Kadiev, head of Municipal Formation (MF) "The Sergokalinskiy District," and Gasan Gasanov, head of MF "The Sergokala Settlement."
Today, both Kadiev's and Gasanov's supporters plan to hold their own protest actions in the settlement of Sergokala. Yesterday, about 10 p.m. a conflict burst out in the house of Gasan Gasanov, head of MF "The Sergokala Settlement," between him and Ali Kadiev, head of MF "The Sergokalinskiy District."
Mr. Kadiev jerked out his pistol and made several shots at Mr. Gasanov's car, then he left the scene of the incident, and presently his whereabouts are unknown.
A source in the Administration of the Sergokalinskiy District has told the correspondent of the "Caucasian Knot" that today more than 30 Gasanov's relatives have rushed into Kadiev's office and made a pogrom there.
