On December 20-26, 2021, no one fell victim to armed conflict in Northern Caucasus
During the week of December 20-26, 2021, no killed or wounded in the ongoing armed conflict in Northern Caucasus were reported. These are the results of the calculations run by the “Caucasian Knot” based on its own materials and information from other open sources.
Two residents of Northern Caucasus convicted under articles on terrorism
On December 24, in Rostov-on-Don, a court found Gennady Shvydchenko, a resident of the Stavropol Territory, guilty of attempting to commit a terror act in Yessentuki by blowing up a building of the Ministry of Internal Affairs (MIA). The defendant was sentenced to 13 years of imprisonment.
On December 23, a court recognized Nizami Alisultanov, a native of the Dagestani village of Khiv, as a member of a terrorist organization and sentenced him to 7 years and 4 months of imprisonment in a penal colony.
