Hearings of the case of Ingush militiamen start in Kabardino-Balkaria
It has become known to the "Caucasian Knot" correspondent that today the Supreme Court of Kabardino-Balkaria has started a preliminary session on the case of Ingush militiamen. Bagaudin Evloev, former head of the Malgobek ROVD (District Interior Unit), and his deputy Ahmed Kotiev are in the prisoner's box.
Bagaudin Evloev, head of the Malgobek ROVD, and his deputy Ahmed Kotiev are accused of gross negligence that resulted in hostage taking in Beslan and death of people.
The investigation has found out that the camp of terrorists who carried out the capture of hostages at the school of Beslan was located in the territory of the Malgobek District.
