Arrested journalists may be released in Azerbaijan

The authorities of Azerbaijan are going to release the arrested journalists, in particular, Einullah Fatullaev and Sakit Mirza. The "Caucasian Knot" correspondent has learnt about it from informed sources. However, the same sources have noted that the situation with Samir Sadatoglu and Rafik Tagi was still unclear.

Meanwhile, Rasim Garadzha, representative of the organization named "Focus of Free Writers," said at today's press conference that the Azerbaijani society had indifferently treated the arrest of Rafik Tagi and Samir Sadatoglu, thrown into prison on accusations of insulting Islam and Prophet Mohammed.

He has also condemned the arrests of journalists, which have become more frequent recently, and called on the authorities to put an end to these repressions.
