Sufyan Beppaev: situation in Kabardino-Balkaria can aggravate
At the press conference in Nalchik, capital of Kabardino-Balkaria, retired general Sufyan Beppaev, Chairman of the "Alan" Public Organization of the Karachai-Balkar-Ossetian people, has expressed his concern of the fact that the situation in the Republic can aggravate because of the forthcoming elections to the State Duma.
In Sufyan Beppaev's opinion, enemies of Russia spare neither effort nor expense in their stake on NGOs and separatist-inclined radical-nationalist forces.
Mr. Beppaev has accused such western and Russian public entities like the British Institute for Coverage of War and Peace, the Southern Regional Resource Centre, "Open Society" Institute, Agency for International Development and Russian Movement "For Human Rights" of direct or implied participation in creating this sort of organizations.
Sufyan Beppaev has stated that the problems that are worrying the Balkar people are being resolved. In particular, in the near future the problem of recovery of the Khasanya and Belaya Rechka (White River) status will be settled, where elections to local self-government bodies will be held.
