Residents of "Maiskiy" settlement, North Ossetia, can be forced out

The forced resettlers from the Prigorodny District of North Ossetia, who inhabit the refugees' camp located in the suburb of "Maiskiy" settlement, were awarded with another warning. They must move out of the territory they now occupy before April 27 this year, otherwise they will be moved out by force.

The refugees assert that they were told about it by the representatives of the Prigorodny District unit of the Department of the Federal Service of Court Marshals for the Republic of North Ossetia (RNO)-Alania and District Administration who recently visited the camp. They explained that the marshals had made an ultimatum demand to leave the territory and move their cabins to a new settlement before April 27. Otherwise, force may be applied to them.

The refugees are offered to move from the spontaneous camp, where they have lived for the latest 13 years after the start of the Ossetian-Ingush conflict, to the "Novy" settlement organized purposefully for them.
