Forced resettlers are granted documents in Northern Ossetia

Today, the working group has finished its regular acceptance session of forced resettlers in Novy settlement of the Prigorodny District, North Ossetia. The working group includes employees of the Department of the Federal Migration Service (DFMS) for the Republic of North Ossetia-Alania and representatives of the Ministry for Nationalities' Matters. The "Caucasian Knot" correspondent was informed about it at the Division for Analysis, Control and Planning of the DFMS for North Ossetia.

"The process of making documents to forced resettlers goes on at the previous rate and without any breaks - passports are issued with stamps of residence registration, and registration stamps are also put into old passports," the DFMS officer said.

However, certain citizens who applied for making documents and registration stamping were rejected by representatives of the Migration Service.

"These are the citizens who were children at the moment of the conflict, and, naturally, had no passports and others legitimating documents," the officer explained.
