Relatives report about condition of a man wounded near village of Parukh
A military man who was wounded in a shootout near the village of Parukh has been hospitalized in Stepanakert, and his condition is improving, relatives of the wounded man report.
The “Caucasian Knot” has reported that on April 12, the Russian Ministry of Defence (MoD) reported that near the Karabakh village of Furukh (the Azerbaijani name of the village is Farrukh, and the Armenian name is Parukh, – note of the “Caucasian Knot”), the Azerbaijani armed forces violated the ceasefire, and one military man of Nagorno-Karabakh was wounded.
Today, parents of the wounded military man from the Defence Army have told the “Caucasian Knot” correspondent that their son “is under the supervision of doctors, his condition is stable positive, and he is on the mend.” The parents reported that the wounded man was taken to a hospital in Stepanakert and asked the “Caucasian Knot” correspondent not to publish personal information about him.
Gegam Stepanyan, Ombudsperson of Nagorno-Karabakh, has confirmed to the “Caucasian Knot” correspondent that the injury was not severe and that the life of the military man is not in danger. The Ombudsperson has noted that the wounded man stays in a military hospital.
As of 3:03 p.m. Moscow time, the Ministries of Defence of Azerbaijan and Nagorno-Karabakh have not placed on their official websites any comments concerning the incident.
