ATV journalists attacked in Baku

In the Nasimi District of Baku, members of the filming team of the ATV Channel were attacked, the "Caliber.az" outlet reported on April 25.

Near the metro station "January 20", the team of the ATV Channel was making a report on unsanitary conditions in retail outlets located near the station, and the sellers trading there attacked the team, the outlet reports, adding, with reference to the press service of the Azerbaijani Ministry of Internal Affairs (MIA), that the incident is already being investigated.

The video of the attack on the filming team was posted on April 25 by the "Baku.ws" outlet.

"Our team was filming the unsanitary conditions at retail outlets located near the 'January 20' metro station, when an incident occurred with the traders. We have already reported this to law enforcement bodies, which have launched an investigation into this case," the outlet has quoted Ozal Ibragimli, the head of the media and public relations division of the "Azad Azərbaycan TV and Radio Company", as saying.
