Makhachkala: four protesters against mobilization arrested

A court in Makhachkala has sentenced four participants of the anti-mobilization action to five days of arrest each.

The "Caucasian Knot" has reported that on September 26, in Makhachkala, law enforcers stopped an action against mobilization. At least 150 people were brought to the police station, human rights defenders informed.

On Sunday and Monday (September 24 and 25), courts began considering the cases of violations during unauthorized protests in Makhachkala. On Tuesday (September 27), they received for consideration 20 materials on administrative violations, the "Youth of Dagestan" outlet has reported citing the press service of the court.

The court has already considered four cases; all the defendants were found guilty and sentenced to five days of arrest each, the "Chernovik" (Draft) portal has reported.

Relatives are not allowed into the courtroom. They don't even know whether their relatives have been brought to the court, as the list of those tried is not made public.

On September 25, in Makhachkala, law enforcers also violently dispersed an action against mobilization. According to human rights defenders, 101 people were detained out of about 300 participants in the rally.
