Blogger Vitaly Votanovsky fined for cooperating with undesirable organization

A court in Krasnodar has found Vitaly Votanovsky, the author of the Telegram channel "Titushki of Krasnodar", guilty of participating in an undesirable organization for his reposts in a social network and fined him.

The "Caucasian Knot" has reported that Vitaly Votanovsky and activist Victor Chirikov were detained on September 16 after filming in Tikhoretsk the graves of soldiers who had perished in Ukraine.

The court declared the repost "collaboration with an undesirable organization," the SOTA channel has reported.

"I posted the last such link in April, while the organization itself was declared undesirable in July. Naturally, I deleted the links. The screenshots presented at the trial were undated; therefore, I suspect that we are talking about 'canned food' (pre-prepared materials, – note of the 'Caucasian Knot')," Mr Votanovsky has stated.
