Republic's Hospital of Ingushetia receives kidney machines

Five modern kidney machines (haemodialyzers) bought by one of local businessmen to cover the deficit of these devices for local kidney insufficiency patients have been delivered to the dialysis department.

"These machines were of extreme need to us, and we are very glad that the Hospital has finally accepted them. The equipment is still unpacked and uninstalled, but we hope that the problem will be settled in near future, because, as specialists say, without proper connection and due operation the machines can become unfit for use," Radimkhan Zangieva, a patient of the dialysis department, has explained today to the "Caucasian Knot" correspondent.

Sources at the Ingush Republic's Clinical Hospital (IRCH) have confirmed the fact of acceptance of the equipment, but noted that as of today there was no need to buy them.

Liza Gazdieva, manager of the IRCH, has noted in her conversation with the "Caucasian Knot" correspondent that the rumours that until now the Hospital had refused to accept the machines have nothing to do with reality:

"The Hospital is a state-owned entity, and any equipment, including charitable one, can be accepted by us only upon observance of certain legal procedures. All these problems were lifted after on August 9 an official letter (deed of gift) was brought to us from the philanthropist."
