Amelina was engaged in studying the "Talysh problems." The Talysh nationals are major residents on this district of Azerbaijan, and "it gives grounds to believe that the journalist did not support the pro-Azerbaijani position."
"Employees of law enforcement bodies of Azerbaijan have not explained to me any reasons of my detention and deportation," Ms Amelina remarks. "A was not presented any charges and any documents obliging me to leave the country."
The "Caucasian Knot" has already informed that the journalist was engaged in preparing materials about major political figures of the Republic, both in power structures and among the opposition.
