Ukrainian Mufti treats Kadyrov's threats against him as real

Ramzan Kadyrov has reacted sharply to the video of a conversation with the Chechens-prisoner of war (POWs), because this video has received resonance in the Internet, Aider Rustemov, a Ukrainian Mufti, believes. He has noted that he is not afraid of threats, although he understands the reality thereof.

The "Caucasian Knot" has reported that in Kadyrov's opinion, the POWs from Chechnya, who talked with the Mufti in Ukraine, should punish him after their release. Kadyrov's anger was provoked by the Mufti's questions about why Chechnya calls the special military operation (SMO) as jihad.

Aider Rustemov, the Mufti of the Crimea, asked the POWs why they had come to take part in the SMO in Ukraine. They could not specify why the SMO is treated in Chechnya as jihad. "There was an order – and we arrived," said one of them.

Aider Rustemov has noted that Chechen POWs had been forced to go to Ukraine. He has also stated that, in his opinion, there are people who go to the SMO "for the sake of money."

In his opinion, Kadyrov's sharp reaction to the video was due to the fact that it has received quite a resonance (it has more than 1.3 million pageviews on the YouTube).
