Document released on punishment of SIZO employees after beating up Nikita Zhuravel for burning Koran

Employees of the Grozny SIZO (pre-trial prison), where Adam Kadyrov had beaten Nikita Zhuravel up, were punished after a check, the document posted in the "Baza" Telegram channel has informed.

The "Caucasian Knot" has reported that on September 25, 2023, Ramzan Kadyrov posted a video of his son Adam beating up Nikita Zhuravel at the SIZO. The head of Chechnya praised his son for this act.

"As a result of the conducted check, employees of SIZO No. 1 of Grozny were punished - they were allegedly 'brought to disciplinary responsibility'," says the "Baza" Telegram channel.

On February 27, a court in Grozny sentenced Nikita Zhuravel to 3.5 years in a penal colony, finding him guilty of violating the right to the freedom of religion and hooliganism. The defence said it would appeal against the verdict.
