Well-known oppositionist approved as Vice-Premier of Ingushetia

Today, President of Ingushetia Yunus-Bek Evkurov has signed appointment decrees to various top positions in the Republic. Thus, Magomed-Sali Aushev, a well-known oppositional politician of Ingushetia, has been approved as the Deputy Chairman of the Government (Vice-Premier).

On November 13, Rashid Gaisanov was appointed to the position of the Chairman of the Government. In his interview to the "Caucasian Knot" correspondent Magomed-Sali Aushev treated this appointment as an extremely successful start of Mr Evkurov's political activity, having asserted that Gaisanov is an ideal fit to the position of the Chairman of the Government.

The "Vesti-Northern Caucasus" reports that Magomed-Sali Aushev will be the third Vice-Premier. He held this post already under the first President of Ingushetia Ruslan Aushev and was Deputy of the National Assembly of Ingushetia. Under President Murat Zyazikov he was an active oppositionist.
