• Director of training-sporting base was killed for non-payment of zakyat, said a source from Tyrnyauz

  The "Caucasian Knot" correspondent was informed by an unofficial source from the city of Tyrnyauz that Mukhtar Baizullaev, the director of the training-sporting base "Ushba" in Tyrnyauz, Kabardino-Balkaria, was shot dead by Islamic radicals for his refusal to pay the zakyat (tax) of 500,000 roubles.
