11 candidates registered for participation in the election of the City Council of Lermontov

Eleven candidates in Stavropol region were registered for participation in early election of the Council of the town of Lermontov of the fifth convocation.

It should be reminded that on March, 2, the court granted the lawsuit of the deputies of the town of Lermontov cancelling early election appointed on March, 4. Regional Election Committee formed a temporary election committee for holding early election of  the Council of Deputies of the town whose functioning was acknowledged illegitimate because of resignation of six deputies.

A session of the temporary election committee on May, 1, devoted to organization and holding early election of the Council of Lermontov registered two candidates nominated by local branch of KPRF party and seven candidates from LDPR, “Interfax” referring to Press service of Regional Election Committee reports.

There were no objections from the election committee against the documents submitted by the candidates from the political parties for registration.

Besides, one self-nominated candidate in single-seat electoral district No 1 was registered. At the above mentioned session the temporary election committee following the directions of Election Committee of Stavropol region also registered Vladimir Misheryakov as a self-nominated candidate in single-seat electoral district No 7, “YUGA.ru” reports.
