Five persons killed in assault of blocked house in Semender
As reported by law enforcement bodies of Dagestan, five militants were killed during the storming of a house in Semender, including Dmitry Sokolov, who is regarded to have been involved in the terror act committed in Volgograd.
"The active phase of the operation was over at 1:45 p.m.; five bandits were killed, including the militant-blaster Sokolov, a civilian husband of the Volgograd female suicide bomber," the "Interfax" quotes a source from the law enforcement bodies of Dagestan.
Apart from Dmitry Sokolov, Renat (or Rinat, by other sources) Mamaev and Nurali Alisultanov were also shot dead. Maryam Sharipova, Mamaev's wife, was taken out of the blocked house together with her daughter of 1.5 years old, the "Life News" writes.
The fact that Rinat Mamaev, his wife Maryam and their small daughter had been blocked in a private house in Said Afandi Street was reported to the "Caucasian Knot" correspondent at night by Mamaev's sister Aishat. Rinat Mamaev died around 8:00 a.m., said Gulnara Rustamova, an activist of the Dagestani Regional Public Organization (DRPO) "Pravozaschita" (Advocacy).
