Tbilisi: supporters of Ukraine's European integration intend to hold rallies every day

In Tbilisi, participants of the rally in support of the Ukraine's European integration have decided not to leave Rustaveli Avenue until Kiev continues holding its rallies for rapprochement with Europe. Otar Karalashvili, the organizer of the action, told the "Caucasian Knot" correspondent about it.

Let us remind you that the action in support of the Ukraine's European integration took place on December 2 in Tbilisi near the Parliament building located in Rustaveli Avenue. The action was attended by more than 200 persons.

The audience of the rally in Tbilisi is an indication that Georgians are not indifferent to the processes occurring in Ukraine. The "Caucasian Knot" correspondent was informed about it by Georgy Nodiya, Professor from the Ilia Chavchavadze State University. "Of course, I'd like the Tbilisi action to be attended by more people. However, I am also surprised about the amount that gathered here: the action was announced only on the 'Facebook'; but, nevertheless, it was attended by so many people, and, most importantly, it has acquired social importance for Georgia," Georgy Nodiya has noted.

Georgy Djakhaya, the ambassador of the "LiveJournal" in Georgia, believes that such a response – a gathering of several hundred people – is natural; and in the future, the trend will pick up the stream.

Let us remind you that during the summit in Vilnius, Georgia initialled its Association Agreement with the European Union. Armenia and Azerbaijan refused to become associated members of the EU.
