Firemen inspect the "Educated Media" Foundation
Another regular inspection was made to the premises of the "Educated Media" Foundation headed by Manana Aslamazyan. The fact has become known to the "Echo Moskvy" Radio Station. This time the office of the Foundation, which is under special attention of law enforcement bodies, was inspected by firemen.
The "Caucasian Knot" has reported earlier that special attention to the Foundation from the part of law enforcement bodies was demonstrated on April 18, when the Moscow Office of the Foundation for Projects in the Sphere of Culture, Education and Mass Media "Educated Media" (assignee of the well-known Autonomous NGO "Internews") was visited by employees of the Department for Economic Security (DES) of the Russian Ministry of Internal Affairs, who confiscated financial documents and computers. The investigatory actions were undertaken under the criminal case on smuggling and legalization of incomes, which was initiated by the Linear Interior Unit of the "Sheremetyevo-2" Airport.
