Following role model of Adam Kadyrov turns into punishment for schoolchildren in Chechnya
In Chechnya, two schoolchildren, one of whom beat his colleague, while the other was filming the beating on video, were obliged to clean the school as punishment. The ending of the story with the teenagers’ fight differs sharply from the story of the beating of Volgograd resident Nikita Zhuravel by Adam Kadyrov, a son of the leader of Chechnya, since the Ramzan Kadyrov’s son was not punished.
The “Caucasian Knot” has reported that a video depicting one teenager beating another was posted on social networks, and Magomed Daudov, the speaker of the Chechen Parliament, reacted to it. He threatened punishment to parents of the schoolboy who had distinguished himself by cruelty.
The description of the video posted on chechnyatoday_95 public account on Instagram* states that the schoolboy from the previously posted video is engaged in cleaning the school as punishment. “[The teenager] says he has understood what he did and apologizes,” the description reads.
On September 25, Ramzan Kadyrov, the leader of Chechnya, posted a video of his son Adam Kadyrov beating Volgograd resident Nikita Zhuravel, who was arrested in the case on burning of the Koran, in a SIZO (pre-trial prison). Ramzan Kadyrov praised his son for his act.
Meanwhile, Svetlana Gannushkina**, the chair of the “Civic Assistance Committee”**, noted that Adam Kadyrov was made a role model for all Chechen teenagers. The human rights defender emphasizes the excuse that Adam Kadyrov allegedly defended the Koran by beating Nikita Zhuravel is incorrect.
Human rights defender Oyub Titiev emphasizes that the demonstration of violence should be stopped in Chechnya.
