Former fighters of PMC "Wagner" created their own detachment as part of special forces "Akhmat"
The “Kamerton” detachment, created as part of the Akhmat special forces by former fighters of the Wagner PMC, is undergoing combat training, as follows from public videos.
Video reports on the combat coordination training of former fighters of the PMC “Wagner” were published. So, in a video clip published today by RIA Novosti on its Telegram channel, one of the fighters says that those fighters who are now serving in Akhmat have extensive combat experience, from three to eight years, and they all signed a contract with Russian Ministry of Defense.
The video shows the work of one of the tactical groups using drones. “The next stage for us is the involvement of cannon artillery and heavy equipment in the form of tanks and BMP-3s. We are slowly starting to get involved and I think everything will be fine,” the fighter, whose face is covered, says in the video.
The man, whose face was also covered, said that he was the commander of the “Tuning Fork” detachment. “It was difficult to survive what happened in the last few months, but this is our work, regardless of whether we perform it as part of the PMC “Wagner” or as part of the Ministry of Defense, the Russian National Guard. Today we are not employees of the “Wagner”, we are employees Ministry of Defense," he noted in the RT video.
According to him, before the former fighters of the PMC “Wagner” came to serve in “Akhmat”, they met with Alaudinov and “resonated.” “We retained absolutely everything that is inherent to us; our way of life, all our methods, structure, and room for maneuver. <...> Absolutely no one is holding us back, no one here is stopping us from working,” he said.
