In Dagestan, prosecutors study children's mass poisoning
Today in Dagestan, the kindergarten of the city of Kaspiisk, where children's mass poisoning happened yesterday, was closed for quarantine. The prosecutor's office has started investigating the circumstances of what happened.
On January 13 after breakfast, children complained of stomach pains, weakness and nausea. As a result, as updated, 44 kids (earlier the figure of 45 was given) in the age of 3-6 were hospitalized to the infectious ward of the Kaspiisk City Hospital with diagnosis of food poisoning. The condition of 6 suffered kids was estimated as grave.
Children-patients were rendered the necessary medical aid. According to doctors, their condition causes no fears. Under preliminary conclusion, they were poisoned by apricot juice diluted with water.
