Dagestani MIA sees no violations in video of beating up mobilization opponent in Makhachkala

There are no violations of the service discipline in actions of the law enforcers, who hit the immobilized anti-mobilization protester in Makhachkala. It follows from the answer of the Ministry of Internal Affairs (MIA) to Arsen Magomedov, a lawyer.

The "Caucasian Knot" has reported that on September 26, in Makhachkala, law enforcers suppressed an anti-mobilization action; at least 150 people were detained. Law enforcers made detentions with excessive severity, Idris Yusupov, a journalist, asserts.

Ratmir Sovzikhanov, a paramedic, who accompanied a patient in an ambulance, ended up in the hospital after he was beaten by law enforcers – they thought that the he was filming the action on his phone. About 30 criminal cases on the use of violence against state officials are being investigated in Makhachkala in connection with the anti-mobilization protests; two persons have been arrested, human rights defenders have informed.
