• Two suspected militants killed in Chechnya

  During a check of IDs on the road in the Urus-Martan District, two suspected militants opened fire on policemen out of their car. During an armed conflict, both attackers were killed. According to law enforcers, they were involved in the murder of policeman Magomed Dapaev committed on June 22 in Grozny.

• Istanbul: over sixty people protest against persecution of organizer of anti-Olympic action in KBR

• Film about Chechens' deportation forbidden in Russia was screened in the programme of Moscow International Film Festival

  The film "It's Ordered to Forget", produced by the Sheikh Mansour "Grozny-Film" Studio, was demonstrated at the 36th Moscow International Film Festival. • Migration Service: over 100 refugees from Ukraine arrived in Sochi

  Since the start of armed clashes in Eastern Ukraine, more than a hundred people from the Donetsk and Lugansk Regions arrived in Sochi and applied for the refugee status, said the local migration service.
